Nithya Duddella is an incoming senior majoring in Biochemistry at The Ohio State University, and she is excited to join the REVERB team as the Festival Support Intern this summer. On campus, she runs a community garden that educates students about urban agriculture and sustainable food systems. Inspired by her extended family’s farming traditions in Southern India, she is passionate about the community-centered and interdisciplinary nature of sustainability and agriculture. In addition to her sustainability work, Nithya conducts research on therapeutics for water-borne disease pathogens and on biotech devices designed to improve clean water systems. Outside of academics, she enjoys singing, reading, and playing the piano.
