Volunteer & Community Programs Coordinator

As the Volunteer & Community Programs Coordinator, Maya builds successful volunteer teams that represent REVERB in our Action Villages all over the world! She communicates with thousands of volunteers every year who all play a crucial role in sharing REVERB’s mission with music fans. Maya also connects REVERB with other nonprofits driving positive social and environmental change and helps manage REVERB’s internship program, which she participated in during her undergraduate career.

Maya earned a degree in Environment and Natural Resources from The Ohio State University, where she majored in Environmental Policy and Decision-Making. She focused her studies on effectively communicating scientific information and engaging the public in pro-environmental behaviors. She is passionate about mobilizing communities to care for the environment and fostering self-efficacy so everyone feels empowered to make a positive impact!

Maya’s favorite REVERB memories include connecting with volunteers onsite, seeing our Action Villages come to life, learning more about nonprofits worldwide, and so much more. In her free time, you’ll find Maya around Columbus, OH, usually taking a long walk outside, thrifting, practicing yoga, or trying a new coffee shop!
