Intern | Summer 2024
Christiana recently graduated from American University with a Bachelor’s in Environmental Studies, a minor in Sustainability, and a certificate in Science and Policy. She will attend Tufts University in the fall to receive her Master’s in Urban & Environmental Planning and Policy. Christiana has had multiple internship experiences working with non-profits and government agencies in various roles in the sustainability field. After hearing about REVERB providing volunteer opportunities to students in the DMV area, her interest peaked in music sustainability and the future of a greener music industry.
Christiana attended the Music Sustainability Summit, curated by the Music Sustainability Alliance in Los Angeles, California, which solidified her interest in combining music and culture with sustainability. With backgrounds in corporate social responsibility, corporate citizenship, environmental conservation, and sustainability strategy, Christiana helps to bring the science regarding sustainability initiatives into practice. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, crocheting, and binge-watching Netflix.
Through interning with REVERB, she hopes to learn more about innovations in the music industry regarding sustainability, how to be impactful to local communities when festivals or concerts come to town, and how to educate consumers about the importance of making their music experiences greener.
