OVERVIEW
REVERB was proud to partner with Reneé Rapp and her team for the first time on the fall 2025 “Bite Me” tour. Reneé’s fans are wildly enthusiastic, ready to take action for their communities and their environment, and the REVERB Action Villages at these shows were always busy. At the same time, the tour took on environmental initiatives, including limiting plastic waste and optimizing waste management.
ECO-VILLAGE
FAN ENGAGEMENT
Each night, fans took meaningful action for people and the planet at the REVERB Action Village. In total, over 6,500 fan actions were taken, including:
- 122 volunteers contributed 488 hours of their time
- 1,427 fans took REVERB’s fashion survey helping us understand the relationship between touring and sustainable versus fast fashion for concerts
- 1,049 fan actions in support of local nonprofits
- 2,515 single-use plastic bottles were avoided by fans through REVERB and Nalgene’s RockNRefill program
Local partners throughout the tour included: Planet Reimagined • The CLEO Institute • Tampa Bay Sierra Club • Propel ATL • Citizens Climate Lobby Charlotte • and more!
The international charity Save the Children was selected by Reneé Rapp to be a beneficiary of the Bite Me Tour’s Eco-Fund, along with REVERB. For 100 years, in the U.S. and around the world, Save the Children has been giving children a healthy start, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm.

VOLUNTEER HIGHLIGHTS
“I’ve had the pleasure of volunteering with REVERB before and it’s always such a fulfilling experience and I truly love being part of the work you do.” Toby S., REVERB Volunteer
“We greatly appreciate the chance to continue advocating for menstrual equity, engage in meaningful conversations with fans, and enjoy the shows! None of us expected such a unique experience, and we were truly grateful for the surprise…It was an incredible opportunity to meet new people and advocate in a setting we never imagined possible.” Nicole C., PERIOD @ Montgomery County
TOUR SUSTAINABILITY
ACTION AT EVERY VENUE
Together we advocated for sustainability at every stop:
- 3,670 Single-Use Bottles Eliminated Back of House: REVERB supplied refillable bottles and installed water refill stations backstage, replacing disposable plastics.
- Recycling available at nearly every venue, with most offering both front-of-house and back-of-house options. Many venues added cardboard and paper separation, and five offered composting.
- Anti-idling measures implemented at 8 stops, with remaining venues following “engine-off” practices to cut emissions from trucks and buses.
- Vegan and vegetarian options available at over half of the venues — with several serving meals using compostable or reusable dishware.
- No new hospitality or décor items purchased at 11 of 13 venues, emphasizing reuse and waste prevention.
TOUR SUSTAINABILITY
Venue Standout: Merriweather Post Pavilion
One of the greenest stops on tour. The venue had built-in water refill stations, composting, and eco-friendly catering practices (compostable plates, cups, and cutlery). We collected 19 toiletry donations, and every room had dedicated recycling bins.
THANK YOU
A huge thanks to everyone who made this possible:
Reneé Rapp • Denise Olexa • Bite Me Tour Crew, including Tour Manager Jen Bui • Nalgene • REVERB Onsite Coordinator, Camden Dean • All the volunteers and fans who took action with us!
