ROCK & RECYCLE

To help keep waste streams on track and engage fans to clean up Grant Park, REVERB executed the festival’s Rock & Recycle program for the seventh year in a row! Fans collected aluminum recyclables from around the venue in exchange for a free festival lineup tee.

In all, 1,605 bags of recycling were returned, which equals 16,356 gallons of recycling diverted from landfill!

BIKE VALET

For the third year in a row, REVERB ran the festival’s free Bike Valet program. Fan can choose to bike for a more sustainable transit option and lock their bikes in a secured area of the festival.

In all, 311 fans valeted their bikes – avoiding approximately 1 metric ton of CO2e.

That’s the equivalent to avoiding emissions from driving 2,547 miles in an average passenger car!

VOLUNTEERS

We asked our volunteers what the most meaningful part of volunteering with REVERB was. Here’s a few of their answers!

“Everyone’s shared effort to ensure that attendees are safe and enjoying their time!” – Avia L.

“I think the work is important and there were a lot of cool people also volunteering.” – Josh H.

“Making sure everyone has a safe festival experience that also keeps Chicago green.” – Aidan M.
