REVERB Partners on First Zero-Emission Battery-Powered Stage at Ultra Music Festival
REVERB helped the Ultra Music Festival make history when the event debuted the first zero-emission battery-powered stage at a major U.S. electronic music festival. The RESISTANCE Cove Stage was powered by a “SmartGrid” battery system, eliminating the diesel generators traditionally used to run massive sound and lighting setups. This milestone demonstrates how large-scale festivals can reduce greenhouse gas emissions while maintaining world-class production and fan experiences.
The project was made possible through REVERB’s Music Decarbonization Project in partnership with Showpower and CES Power. It is part of Ultra’s award-winning Mission: Home program, which in 2026 presented a record 65 sustainability initiatives, including waste reduction, resource recovery, and community engagement.
