OVERVIEW
Since their first tour with REVERB, Barenaked Ladies has partnered with us on nearly all of their North American runs engaging fans on key environmental issues, reducing their tours’ footprint, and advancing sustainability efforts like plastic waste reduction and clean water access.
In 2025, we rejoined the band on their Last Summer on Earth Tour ‘25! For us, it all started with Barenaked Ladies and we’re proud to continue to work with them to create a better future for people and the planet.

- 8,173 single-use plastic bottles were avoided by fans

ACTION AT EVERY VENUE
Together we advocated for sustainability at every stop:
- 9,120 Single-Use Bottles Eliminated Back of House: REVERB supplied refillable bottles and installed water refill stations backstage, replacing disposable plastics
- Recycling at Almost Every Venue: Most offered front- and back-of-house recycling, with several adding composting or cardboard separation
- Backstage Idling Policies: About one-third of stops had formal no-idling policies; elsewhere, crews followed “engine off” practices to cut emissions
Venue Standout: Hayden Homes Amphitheater in Bend, OR
This venue had our jaws on the floor with their sustainability efforts! The team dries and reuses can liners and requires all vendors to sign sustainability agreements! They’ve installed kegerators with water taps where lines can’t reach, separate Zyn cans for unique diversion, and compost wine corks when possible. After a Dave Matthews Band show requested more sustainable food packaging, the venue made those changes permanent–setting a powerful example for others to follow.
THANK YOU!
A huge thanks to everyone who made this possible:
Barenaked Ladies • Management • REVERB Onsite Coordinator, Max Meade • All the volunteers and fans who took action with us!
