AJR and Planet Reimagined partnered with REVERB on The Maybe Man Tour to engage fans in taking climate action and reduce the environmental footprint of touring. The tour also hosted local nonprofits in each market to connect fans with local action for the planet.

REVERB x Planet Reimagined ACTION VILLAGE

Each night on The Maybe Man Tour, fans took meaningful action for people and the planet in the Action Village. In all, fans took 36,401 ACTIONS including:

  • 12,852 Single-use plastic bottles avoided at shows by fans
  • 10,547 Digital Actions
  • 8,643 Actions with Nonprofits
  • 4,486 Donations for custom AJR reusable #RockNRefill Nalgene bottles
  • 233 Volunteers gave over 900 hours of time to bring the Action Village to life

REVERB hosted local and national nonprofits in the Action Village throughout The Maybe Man Tour. Tour partner Planet Reimagined identified leading climate-focused local nonprofits in each city, highlighted as Amplify Partners, offering fans the opportunity to take climate action in their local communities.

SINGLE-USE PLASTIC REDUCTION

17,662 SINGLE-USE PLASTIC BOTTLES WERE AVOIDED on this tour by artists, crew, and fans.

  • Water Refill Stations set up for artists and crew backstage, in catering and on buses, and in main concourses for fans
  • Reusable Water Bottles and Insulated Mugs provided for artists and crew
  • Custom #RockNRefill Reusable Nalgene Bottles available to fans for donation. 100% of donations supported nonprofits and climate projects.
  • Reusable or Compostable Serviceware used in catering and tour buses

TOUR GREENING

VENUES

REVERB connected with venues prior to the tour to support existing on-site sustainability efforts, discuss enhancements and optimize plans to achieve best possible results

  • Water Refill Stations backstage and for fans; 69% of venues had their own water refill stations
  • Sustainable Food: 77% of venues offered plant-based entrees in concessions
  • Plastic Reductions: 85% of venues committed to reducing single-use plastic including:
    eliminating double-pours • no plastic bags • straws only available upon request • carrying non-plastic water containers in concessions
  • Recycling: 81% of venues offered recycling backstage and for fans. REVERB ensured recycling was available backstage at every stop!

  • Enhanced Recycling and Composting
  • Battery Reclamation & Donation:
    • Usable batteries donated to shelters
    • Dead batteries properly recycled
  • Unused Hotel Toiletries Donated to shelters (otherwise they end up in landfills)
  • Green Cleaning Products backstage and on tour buses
