In 2015, REVERB partnered with the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation (NMSF) to build awareness about the National Marine Sanctuary System. NOAA’s Office of National Marine Sanctuaries serves as the trustee for a network of underwater parks encompassing more than 170,000 square miles of marine and Great Lakes waters. Maroon 5 & Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary
The guys visited the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary and learned about the Whale Alert app, which is a free and user-friendly way for people to report whale sightings on the West Coast in real time.
Flower Garden Banks and Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuaries
Flower Garden Banks and Stellwagen Bank national marine sanctuaries participated in REVERB Eco-Villages at four concerts in Houston and the Boston area, engaging and educating music fans on the importance of national marine sanctuaries.
