Farm-to-Family Raises Over $100K on DMB Summer Tour

Dave Matthews Band fans donated $106,398 to 32 local farmers and food banks across the country as part of REVERB’s Farm-to-Family program on the DMB 2014 Summer Tour.

The REVERB Farm-to-Family program supports local, non-GMO farmers and hungry families in need across the country. Farm-to-Family donates CSA shares to community food banks in order to support community-scale farms with capital for the next growing season and provide high quality, local produce to families who don’t otherwise have access to it.

2014 was the sophomore year of REVERB’s Farm-to-Family program on a DMB tour. We invited a local non-GMO farm and a local food bank to table in our Eco-Village. Then, with the help of our amazing volunteers, DMB-branded Nalgene bottles were given in return for a $10 donation to benefit the program. Cash raised at each show went to the farms to grow fresh items for the food banks to distribute to their constituencies.

Thank you to DMB, DMB fans, our volunteers, Nalgene, and Brita for making this possible!
